His Last Words is an intergenerational Home Group based curriculum through John Chapters 13-16. In these chapters, we see Jesus having a conversation with his disciples. These are the last words he's sharing with them before his impending death and glorifying resurrection. These are intimate settings and statements that challenge his disciples for a mission that awaits them.
Our home group time will be in the months of February and March. Pastor Josh will be doing a recap of the previous weeks, before everyone is shipped off to the host homes. It is of utmost importance that you (as leaders and participants) are prepared for the evening when you come in.
This website is designed to help you as a Home Group participant/facilitator be as prepared as possible for the students on a Sunday evening. You'll find resources here for the curriculum and a video to help you best prepare for the upcoming week.
If you would like a hard copy of the curriculum, please let me know and I'll get that for you.
Suggestions for Preparation:
- Make sure to spend approximately 1-2 hrs in preparation each week. I'd encourage you to do more, but that is up to you. Please try to do at least 1 hour of preparation.
- Don't prep on Sunday afternoon the week of. You will not be ready.
- NOTICE: Some weeks require you to have materials in advance. So if you're reading this on the Sunday afternoon before Small Group time, then you are probably not going to be as prepared as you should.
- I make many spelling and grammar mistakes. Sorry.
