What is Etch?

Etch is inter-generational . It's a time for all ages to interact with one common purpose: Discipleship. Together, we'll learn, discuss, and experience Christ together. It's a weekly place for all to Share Life and Share Christ.

Youth and Adult Electives

These electives are designed for 7th grade to adult. They will be much like a classroom format with elements of small group interactions. In these courses you will experience videos, object lessons, lectures, and many other methods of teaching. Find out more information about our current electives below.

In/Out Electives

Each Session offers an elective for those who aren't able to make each session. These specific electives have a common theme, but aren't necessarily built on week by week. Therefore, a person is able to come "in and out" each week and still not miss a beat.

Interactive Electives

Some sessions will have an "interactive elective" that is designed for you to learn both about Christ, but also a skill or hobby that may interest you. These electives are designed for a hands-on experience.

  • ETCH INTERACTIVE: Creative awakenings

(This class is for all - 20 person limit)

Allow God to awaken the creativity he has placed inside each one of us. Find ways to use art as a means of worship, healing, and fun! You’ll learn basics of painting, sketching, and other forms of art.

Parents will need to drop their children off at the church and check them in before heading over to this class at the old art studio.

  • Financial Peace University

Learn how to manage your money as well as pay off debt, budget, save money, and give generously. You’ll view powerful video lessons and  complete an interactive workbook as well.

The cost of this study is not known at this time. More details to come.

  • Men's Bible Study: Unfolded

    ($15 for books)

Most men know specific Bible stories, but do they know the overarching story of the Bible? While the Bible is a collection of 66 books, the reigning theme that still holds eternal implications for our lives today is God's powerful story of redemption. Join us to explore this story of a God who loves us, longs to be known by us, and ultimately invites us into His story.

  • Hard Sayings of Jesus

Like his original hearers many people find Jesus' sayings hard. Some sayings are hard because they're difficult to understand, others because the demands they make on us are simply too much to swallow. Join us for 9 weeks of looking at different passages and sayings of Jesus that need some clarification, context or acceptance. Come with questions of your own or difficult passages you have found. Let's find a way to let God's Word speak into our lives, and allow the sayings of Jesus to bring a better understanding of his ministry and his character.

This class is an in/out class, therefore requires no registration. We do, however prefer you to register for this course to give us an idea of how many will be attending. There is also an option to take this class online via Zoom.

Etch Meal

Due to COVID-19, we made the decision to not do a meal before Etch. Therefore, Etch will begin now at 6:30PM.

Community Nights

Etch Community Nights are breaks between our four and six week electives where we all gather for an evening of entertainment, interaction, and worship. Our goal is to share what Christ has been doing in our lives, what we've been learning from him, and also have a little fun while we're doing it.
