What is Etch?

Etch is inter-generational . It's a time for all ages to interact with one common purpose: Discipleship. Together, we'll learn, discuss, and experience Christ together. It's a weekly place for all to Share Life and Share Christ.

Youth and Adult Electives

These electives are designed for 7th grade to adult. They will be much like a classroom format with elements of small group interactions. In these courses you will experience videos, object lessons, lectures, and many other methods of teaching. Find out more information about our current six-week electives below.

In/Out Electives

Each Session offers an elective for those who aren't able to make each session. These specific electives have a common theme, but aren't necessarily built on week by week. Therefore, a person is able to come "in and out" each week and still not miss a beat.

Interactive Electives

Some sessions will have an "interactive elective" that is designed for you to learn both about Christ, but also a skill or hobby that may interest you. These electives are designed for a hands-on experience.

  • ETCH INTERACTIVE: Creative awakenings

(This class is for all - 20 person limit)

Allow God to awaken the creativity he has placed inside each one of us. Find ways to use art as a means of worship, healing, and fun! You’ll learn basics of painting, sketching, and other forms of art.

We will gather for the meal, then head over to the old art studio, then arrive back in time to pick up children.

(Women only - 20 person limit)

This Refit class is a fun, total body workout, that focuses on easy moves with uplifting and inspiring music. A 45-minute fitness dance and tone class. In addition, each class with end with a devotion (heartwork) and prayer. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or advanced!

  • SPiritual Habits

    (Women Only)

Study scripture individually throughout the week, and each Wednesday gather together and discuss what God has been teaching us. Allow this class to create and develop the habits of STOP, STEP, SHARE in our everyday lives.

  • Men's Bible Study: Unfolded

    ($15 for books)

Most men know specific Bible stories, but do they know the overarching story of the Bible? While the Bible is a collection of 66 books, the reigning theme that still holds eternal implications for our lives today is God's powerful story of redemption. Join us to explore this story of a God who loves us, longs to be known by us, and ultimately invites us into His story.

  • Threads: Themes that weave through the bible

(There is no Registration Required for this course)

From Genesis to Revelation there are words, phrases, and themes that all point to the redemptive work of The Cross. Learn how to recognize these themes as you read scripture. Join us as we look at these threads and how they’re all woven together to create a beautiful picture of Jesus Christ.

Etch Meal

At Etch there is always a meal. The meal helps parents and adults not have to worry or rush with putting something on the table and then get to church. More importantly the Etch meal provides an opportunity where we can interact with each other, spend time mingling, and share life together.

You are welcome to bring your own food if you're on a special diet, or simply like to cook! The meal isn't so much about the food, but what takes place at the table while we eat.

We also ask that you bring a small donation to help toward food costs if possible.

Meal is served from 5:30-6:10pm

Community Nights

Etch Community Nights are breaks between our four and six week electives where we all gather for an evening of entertainment, interaction, and worship. Our goal is to share what Christ has been doing in our lives, what we've been learning from him, and also have a little fun while we're doing it.
