What is Etch?

Etch is inter-generational . It's a time for all ages to interact with one common purpose: Discipleship. Together, we'll learn, discuss, and experience Christ together. It's a weekly place for all to Share Life and Share Christ.

Etch begins February 3 and is each Wednesday at 5:30PM. Click on the links below to learn more about Etch.

Etch begins with a Meal [REGISTER HERE]

after the meal:

Etch Knights Club is for CHILDREN

Electives are offered for TEENS AND ADULTS

Youth and Adult Electives

These electives are designed for 7th grade to adult. They will be much like a classroom format with elements of small group interactions. In these courses you will experience videos, object lessons, lectures, and many other methods of teaching. Find out more information about our current electives below.

In/Out Electives

Each Session offers an elective for those who aren't able to make each session. These specific electives have a common theme, but aren't necessarily built on week by week. Therefore, a person is able to come "in and out" each week and still not miss a beat.

Interactive Electives

Some sessions will have an "interactive elective" that is designed for you to learn both about Christ, but also a skill or hobby that may interest you. These electives are designed for a hands-on experience.

If you like to play games, then this interactive class is for you. Many times, we look at games simply as entertainment, but miss how they can teach us some important lessons about Loving God and Loving Others. While some friendly competition is healthy and winning can be fun, we are going for more than a win as we play and learn. Aggravation, Taboo, and Life, are a just a few of the games we will play. Can you guess what the application will be for each of those? Bring your Bible and your game face. It's Game On!

  • Women's StudY: Women of the Word

How to Study the Bible with Both Our Hearts and Our Minds

We all know it's important to study God's Word. But sometimes it's hard to know where to start. What's more, a lack of time, emotionally driven approaches, and past frustrations can erode our resolve to keep growing in our knowledge of Scripture. How can we, as Christian women, keep our Focus and sustain our passion when reading the Bible? Women of the Word gives a clear and concise plan all women can use every time they open their Bible. This book equips you to engage God's Word in a way that trains your mind and transforms your heart.

  • Men's Study: Conquer Series (Part 1)

(This study is for men 7th grade – Adult. At least $15 per person.)

This series lays out biblical strategies, scientific facts and teaches men how to use God’s weapons to conquer sexual sin. We encourage any man who is in the role of father, grandfather, or son to be a part of this series to help raise awareness of the effects this sin has on future generations.

  • prayers of the bible

this class does not require registration, BUT IS APPRECIATED

As Christians a basic discipline of the faith is our prayer life. This is a weak area for many of us today in this hectic day and age. We are not alone as Jesus’ disciples also struggled with this as they asked Jesus, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples” (Luke 11:1).

The Bible provides some solid prayer models and examples that we can learn from and implement in our lives. Scripture is rich in both the old and new testament that provides us some solid prayer models to incorporate into our daily lives. Beginning with the Lord’s prayer this class will dive into the prayers of Jesus, Paul, David, Ezra, Nehemiah, Hezekiah, Asa and Jehoshaphat to give us some practical ways to enhance our prayer lives as we continue to grow in Christ.

Community Nights

Etch Community Nights are breaks between our four and six week electives where we all gather for an evening of entertainment, interaction, and worship. Our goal is to share what Christ has been doing in our lives, what we've been learning from him, and also have a little fun while we're doing it.
