What is Etch?

"INGRAINING THE TRUTH OF CHRIST IN THE LIVES OF HIS FOLLOWERS"

Etch is inter-generational . It's a time for all ages to interact with one common purpose: Discipleship. Together, we'll learn, discuss, and experience Christ together. It's a weekly place for all to Share Life and Share Christ.

Youth and Adult Electives

These electives are designed for 7th grade to adult. They will be much like a classroom format with elements of small group interactions. In these courses you will experience videos, object lessons, lectures, and many other methods of teaching. Find out more information about our current electives below.

In/Out Electives

Each Session offers an elective for those who aren't able to attend each week. These specific electives have a common theme, but aren't necessarily built on week by week. Therefore, a person is able to come "in and out" each week and still not miss a beat.

Interactive Electives

Some sessions will have an "interactive elective" that is designed for you to learn both about Christ, but also a skill or hobby that may interest you. These electives are designed for a hands-on experience.

  • In/OUT: Beyond Sunday

    No registration required

This elective helps us dive deeper into the sermon from the previous week. Each week is designed to help each person not only continue contemplating the passage and topic from Sunday's sermon, but also to create space for conversations about how to apply the message to our daily lives.

  • Men's Fraternity: The Quest for Authentic Manhood

A captivating journey composed of 12 sessions, this series helps men understand their masculine identity and shows them how to make the pursuit of authentic manhood a lifelong priority that is incorporated into the fabric of their everyday lives. It offers a clear definition of what a man is and challenges each man to develop his own personalized manhood plan.

  • Divorce Care

DivorceCare is a weekly seminar/support group that will help you heal from the hurt through life-changing support groups that welcome and guide you on the path of recovery after separation or divorce.. It's a warm, caring environment led by people who understand what you are going through. Over 1 million people have found comfort and hope through this 13-week, video-based series. Gain hope for your future!

  • Etch Interactive: God & DRama

Etch often tries to offer at least one elective that is interactive. So if you prefer a more "hands-on" approach to learning. This might be the elective for you!

Join us for 6 weeks of acting, improv, skits and more! We will be diving into different styles of acting. The behind the scenes of acting, and how practice makes everything better! We will learn what the Bible has to say about acting, and so much more! This is not just a class for extraverts, but for anyone who has an interest in acting or even playing roles behind the scenes.

  • jONAH AND THE cITY

    no registration required

A prophet, sailors, whales, great cities and worms. What more could an epic entail? We dive into this uniquely placed, out-of-the-ordinary event positioned in the midst of the minor prophets. Join us as we learn about the prophet "who really never got it," and maybe read this narrative in a way you've not quite seen it before.

Etch Meal

Jesus spends much of his ministry around a table with food, and we have adopted that same method of ministry at Etch. We believe some of the best conversations and relationships are built around the dinner table. Etch begins each Wednesday night with a meal and an activity before we break for electives. Below you can read more details about the meal.

  • Meal is served from 5:30pm to 6:15pm.
  • We suggest a $3 donation per meal.
  • Most weeks will have a kids option.
  • There is a salad bar provided for those looking for a more healthier food option. (Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult)

ETCH OCTOBER MENU

Community Nights

Etch Community Nights are breaks between our four and six week electives where we all gather for an evening of entertainment, interaction, and worship. Our goal is to share what Christ has been doing in our lives, what we've been learning from him, and also have a little fun while we're doing it.
