What is Etch?

Etch is inter-generational . It's a time for all ages to interact with one common purpose: Discipleship. Together, we'll learn, discuss, and experience Christ together. It's a weekly place for all to Share Life and Share Christ.

Etch Electives are offered for TEENS AND ADULTS

Youth and Adult Electives

These electives are designed for 7th grade to adult. They will be much like a classroom format with elements of small group interactions. In these courses you will experience videos, object lessons, lectures, and many other methods of teaching. Find out more information about our current electives below.

In/Out Electives

Each Session offers an elective for those who aren't able to attend each week. These specific electives have a common theme, but aren't necessarily built on week by week. Therefore, a person is able to come "in and out" each week and still not miss a beat.

Interactive Electives

Some sessions will have an "interactive elective" that is designed for you to learn both about Christ, but also a skill or hobby that may interest you. These electives are designed for a hands-on experience.

  • In/OUT: Beyond Sunday

    No registration required

This elective helps us dive deeper into the sermon from the previous week. Each week is designed to help each person not only continue contemplating the passage and topic from Sunday's sermon, but also to create space for conversations about how to apply the message to our daily lives.

  • W.o.w. bible study: seamless

    cost: $15 for book

This women's Bible study is designed to equip women to have meaningful spiritual conversations. How confident do you feel in talking about matters of faith? Do you wish you could express your beliefs with more effectiveness? Join Mary Jo in a practical seven-session study and gain understanding and skill to share Jesus effectively with others, and you'll better understand your own faith. Answer your doubts, build your confidence, and start changing lives.

“According to George Barna’s research, only about 12 percent of Christians consider themselves specially gifted for outreach”. If you are one of the other 88 percent of Christians, this study is for you.

In every part of the world, people are looking for spiritual answers and resources as never before. But you don’t need to travel to some exotic foreign mission field to find hungry hearts. You spend hours every day in the most strategic place of impact in the world—your workplace. Going Public With Your Faith offers a proven model for evangelism that respects the unique relationships you have with your coworkers, clients, or customers.

If you've joined the Wordle-craze or enjoy classic games like Scrabble and Boggle, then you'll enjoy this interactive elective on words.

We'll spend our time playing word games, and talking about the power words have in our lives, relationships and as followers of Christ.

Etch Meal

Jesus spends much of his ministry around a table with food, and we have adopted that same method of ministry at Etch. We believe some of the best conversations and relationships are built around the dinner table. Etch begins each Wednesday night with a meal and an activity before we break for electives. Below you can read more details about the meal.

  • Meal is served from 5:30pm to 6:15pm.
  • We suggest a $3 donation per meal.
  • Most weeks will have a kids option.
  • There is a salad bar provided for those looking for a more healthier food option. (Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult)

Community Nights

Etch Community Nights are breaks between our four and six week electives where we all gather for an evening of entertainment, interaction, and worship. Our goal is to share what Christ has been doing in our lives, what we've been learning from him, and also have a little fun while we're doing it.
